As the beginning of the month starts , Higher Dimension will be having a Hleads Live at the southwest campus .
They are a community driven group of individual people helping serve & thrive with others building a strong foundation serving the needs of future generations and residents through the area with exceptional leadership development and dedication.
Pastor Terrance Johnson preached a message for the church members today August 3rd ,2025 starting with his series “Time For A Reset” .
His inspirational message he preached today teaching from the Book of Isaiah
43:18&19 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!
As he spoke to the congregation teaching the gospel letting everyone know that there’s a connection being faithful & when things get difficult sometimes we need a reset. There are many challenges that we are faced with but scripture of the passage encourages letting go of past experiences, both good and bad, and anticipating the fresh, transformative work God is about to do.
He also encourages everyone through the month of “August” to remember what’s broke don’t have to stay broke because God has the power to reset your life .
Mark 10:46-52
46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
As Pastor Johnson preached the book of Mark chapter 10 , he reminded us as the biblical reference referred to the blind man Bartimaeus as he heard Jesus voice calling him forth as he healed Bartimaeus. Understanding through passage that his faith made him whole.
Today’s society of growth teaches us that acknowledging where we are helps us & the problems that we face gives us room for improvement as Pastor Johnson spoke .
Which let’s us know that whenever we as people acknowledge our problem just as the blind man problem , God also puts people around us too help us see things & evaluate ourselves if we are going too get to where we going .
Psalm 139: 23-24
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me the way everlasting.
As Pastor preached referred to scripture letting us know make Psalms 139 a prayer during this season . As he expressed that often times we get stuck cause we don’t listen however , we got to learn & listen to advice for wisdom this season which scripture teaches us we add to our wisdom when we listen if we need clarity during the season of our lives.
Proverbs 2:6: "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Examples were given such as :
1. You can’t walk into new realities holding on to the old things .
2.A lot of times we stay in our past victories not realizing God is not finished with us . He has a fresh things coming & with new things coming remind us that God gives us new things sometimes when there’s a reset .
Isaiah 43:18 Forget the former things don’t dwell on the past because God is doing a New Thing !
Mark 10:51-52, Jesus asks a blind man, "What do you want me to do for you?" The man responds, "Rabbi, I want to see." Jesus then tells him, "Go your way; your faith has made you well."Immediately, the man regains his sight and follows Jesus .
Pastor Johnson helped us understand that our needs are important & faith is used to give u the courage & we gotta get to a place to let God take control & keep the faith while walking through new doors of opportunities .
The Bible regularly emphasizes the power and importance of our faith with the Lord.
Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
He also shared with the congregation that when God speaks it’s already done referring to New Things .
John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Isaiah 55:3
Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live.”
As he finished Sunday service letting us know “God” inspire your steps & when he gets ready to do new things he make things better.
Pastor Johnson is a great Pastor and helps the community see things through with encouragement and enlightenment encouraging others .
